A Muhatasib could entertain suits in respect of shortages in weights and measures , adulteration and refusal to pay on the part of the debtor who had the means to pay . मुहतसिब मार्पतऋल में खोट , मिलावट और ऐसे देनदारों द्वारा रकम अदा करने से इंकार करने के मुकदमे विचारार्थ स्वीकार कर सकता था जो इतने साधन संपऋ थे कि वे ऋण चुका सकें .
